ABOUT THE PROVO COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA

Who We Are
Our Journey to Inspire and Empower Musicians of All Ages
The Provo Community Orchestra was started by it's director, Rebecca Stoker, during the summer of 2024. While school was not in session, many of her private students were seeking opportunities to keep their skills fresh and to advance before the next school year.
Meanwhile, adult students came to her looking for opportunities to play in a local group with music that was not too difficult but still inspired them to develop their abilities in ways they were not able to do in private lessons.
The Provo Community Orchestra just had to happen...
And with that the Provo Community Orchestra welcomes adult re-starters and students alike playing late beginner-intermediate music (level 2-3). Strings, Wind, and brass players are invited join us in our musical journey.
Our orchestra provides a supportive and inclusive environment for musicians to come together, learn, and encourage life-long learning. Our mission is to make orchestral music accessible to all, regardless of age or experience. Join us and be a part of our vibrant musical community.
